Fortlab’s strong and dedicated R&D team includes degree, Masters and PhD qualified chemists andmicrobiologists. Our R & D laboratory has state-of-the art facilities that enables us to deliver highly innovative, trend-setting formulations especially in the health and beauty segment to match and compete with product formulations from Europe or Asia Pacific . 

Our R & D collaborators include well-established perfumers as well as reputable and
industry-accredited raw material & packaging suppliers, thus enabling Fortlab to deliver the
highest quality from the point of formulation to the final product . Thorough in-house stability
studies – accelerated and real time, batch-specific microbial tests and close cooperation with external laboratories for third party testing are all reflective of our commitment to deliver
total and uncompromised quality in our products .  

Fortlab have also been recognized by the industry and received the Enterprise 50 Award
under the auspices of Small Medium Industries Development Council (SMIDEC) and international consulting firm Deloitte Kassim Chan in 2007. In addition , Dr Chan Chee Yun (Managing Director) is also the proud recipient of The Most Promising Entrepreneur Award 2009 (APEA)
